I am not sure, I will ever get use to Facebook being a place for people to post their condolences or information about a deceased loved one. I guess it makes sense, but I can't imagine being the mother of a fifteen year old boy, who loses his life tragically, and then goes on facebook to acknowledge that people have sympathy for my situation.
For that matter, I cannot imagine eating, sleeping, talking, or functioning if I lost my fifteen year old child. This is not a criticism. I am just incredulous over the whole social media thing.

ReplyDeleteI know someone who passed away two years ago. His profile is still on Facebook. On his birthday, I get a notification that says, "It's xx birthday today."
I don't really know what to think about it.
